Quarzite Tortora is of Indian origin.
Indian Quartzites in general are predominantly sandstones with a porous surface, so resistant that it also finds great use as a poolside.
It is a stone with the almost total absence of foliation, compact and suitable for outdoor laying, even in areas with cold temperatures.
It is a stone with considerable thermal inertia, but with a very low coefficient of expansion.
It is a stone insensitive to attack by acid solutions and therefore very resistant in outdoor situations and to degradation by rainfall.
